Register to vote online in Mid City West's elections!

December 3, 2015

Board Members of the Mid City West Community Council are elected city officials each serving a two year term. Anyone who lives or works (or own property, or takes classes, or volunteers, or otherwise has a vested interest in Mid City West) can vote in the election.

The election will be held 11am-3pm on May 1st 2016. However, if you can't make it to the polls, you can vote online.

Online voting is a new dynamic being added to the neighborhood council election system this year. Stakeholders can vote online starting April 10th and until 3pm on May 1st.

To vote online, you must register to vote with the EmpowerLA online voting registration.
Click here to go to the EmpowerLA website and register now.

Part of the registration process includes uploading a photo of your photo ID.
The registration page also asks for "supporting documentation." However, Mid City West is a self-affirmation Council, which means you only need to upload your ID. For example, if you work at a store on West 3rd Street but you live in Culver City, you would not need to upload a document proving you work at the store - just your photo ID.

Even if you plan to vote in person at the polling location on the day of the election, you will still need to register online when you get to the polls. So do it online today and save yourself time at the polling location!
